Most booking tools are built for a 30-minute sales call. Name, email, a Zoom URL in the description, done. That is a fine product for closers. It is a thin product for a show.
An interview podcast has a different loop. You invite someone. They pick a time in their timezone. You still need who they are, what they want to talk about, consent to record, a brief your co-host can actually use, a Riverside or SquadCast link that does not live in a forgotten thread, and a record of whether the episode shipped.
GuestFlow is that loop. We are not trying to be a cheaper calendar for demos and discovery calls. If you only need a slot, a generic scheduler is enough. If you run a show, the calendar is the least interesting part.
We Edit Podcasts built GuestFlow because we were already doing this work with hosts. The software is the booking OS around the interview, not another sales pipeline.
